Balancing Life, Travel, and Working Remotely

Working remotely gives us the unique opportunity to use freedom and flexibility to spread God's love and share His message with those we encounter. It’s is huge blessing but with this freedom also comes the challenge of balancing work, navigating new places, managing relationships, and meeting new people. Here are a few tips for successfully navigating the work/life balance while also traveling the world:

  1. Set clear boundaries: It can be easy to get caught up in the excitement of travel and neglect your work. To avoid this, it’s important to set clear boundaries for yourself. Determine your working hours and stick to them. This will help you stay focused and productive, and prevent work from spilling over into your personal time.

  2. Find a good balance: While working remotely offers the opportunity to see the world, it’s important to find a balance between work, life, and travel. Make sure to set aside time to explore your new destination, but also make sure you have enough in each place time to focus on your work.

  6. Take Sabbaths: It’s important to take breaks and give yourself time to recharge. Whether it’s exploring a new city or taking a day off to relax, make sure to schedule time for yourself to unplug and focus on our Creator.

You can find a balance between work and travel. Embrace the freedom and flexibility of this lifestyle, but also make sure to set boundaries and stay organized to ensure are staying aligned with not only where God has placed you but also the responsibilities and also the opportunities He’s placed in your hand.
